がぁーでぃあんHearts

Guardian Hearts (がぁーでぃあんHearts) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Sae Amatsu, published from 2001 to 2005 in Monthly Shōnen Ace, totaling 8 volumes. The story revolves around Hina, a Guardian Heart from the Land of Light, who is sent to Earth to protect the peace. However, she accidentally reveals her identity to Kazuya Watari, an ordinary high school student. To keep her secret, Hina asks Kazuya to adopt her, and she moves into his home. Subsequently, more girls with secret identities, including Chelsea, a princess from a magical world, Maya, a ninja, and Kurusu, an alien, begin living with Kazuya. This series is a typical harem romantic comedy, focusing on the complex relationships and humorous situations between Kazuya and the many female leads. The manga was adapted into two OVA anime series in 2003 and 2005, titled Guardian Hearts and Guardian Hearts Power Up respectively. The anime adaptations retain the manga's humor and harem setting, while adding some original storylines.
