Pokemon The Movie 2000: The Power of One

"Pokémon the Movie 2000: The Power of One," also known as "Pocket Monsters the Movie: Revelation Lugia," is the second theatrical film in the Pokémon franchise. Released in Japan in 1999, the movie takes place during the Orange Islands saga, where a Pokémon collector named Lawrence III seeks to capture the legendary bird Pokémon—Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres—in order to awaken Lugia, the guardian of the sea. Ash and his friends become embroiled in the conflict as they journey to gather treasures from various islands, ultimately leading them to Shamouti Island’s shrine. The film's plot explores themes of environmental balance and personal responsibility, featuring adventure, action, and a focus on the harmony between humans and nature. While it earned less at the box office than its predecessor, it was still a financial success. The movie also includes a short film titled "Pikachu's Rescue Adventure."
