"Majime ni Fumajime Kaiketsu Zorori" (Seriously Unserious Incredible Zorori) is a television anime adapted from Yutaka Hara's children's book series "Kaiketsu Zorori." It aired on the TV Asahi network from February 13, 2005, to January 28, 2007, totaling 97 episodes. This is a sequel to the previous anime, "Kaiketsu Zorori." The animation was co-produced by Sunrise (Studio 5, now Bandai Namco Pictures) and Ajia-do. The story follows the adventures of the protagonist Zorori, a cunning fox, and his two pig companions, Ishishi and Noshishi, as they travel the world. Zorori dreams of becoming the King of Mischief, marrying a beautiful princess, and building a castle. The anime retains the humorous style of the original books and also includes some original storylines. In addition, several animated feature films have been produced based on the series, such as "The Mysterious Treasure Great Strategy," "The Great Adventure!," "Protect It! The Dinosaur Egg," "Space Heroes," and "The Secret of ZZ." The series is beloved by children and teenagers for its lighthearted and funny plots and vibrant characters. The anime also incorporates many popular cultural elements and jokes, such as "dad jokes" and then-current trends, enhancing its appeal.
