"Demon Warrior Koji," also known as "Kairaku Satsujin Chōsakan Koji," is an adult-oriented Original Video Animation (OVA) series created by Toshio Maeda and directed by Yasunori Urata. Produced by Phoenix Entertainment Ltd., the series was released in three parts between March 26, 1999, and July 23, 1999. The story follows Koji, a man-demon, as he hunts a supernatural killer. He is aided by a morbid psychic, and their investigation leads them to a lonely woman. Koji must confront unspeakable horrors and determine if his powers are enough to stop a devastating threat. The anime is known for its graphic violence and adult themes, blending horror, fantasy, and erotic elements. Its violent and gory scenes make it a controversial work intended for adult audiences. Central Park Media licensed and released the OVA in 2001, and Right Stuf Inc. re-released it in 2009.
