Sgt. Frog

Sgt. Frog (Japanese: ケロロ軍曹, meaning “Sergeant Keroro”) is a Japanese manga series created by Mine Yoshizaki. The series is known for its humor and parodies of popular culture. It follows a squad of cheerful but often incompetent frog-like aliens from the Gamma Nebula as they attempt to conquer Earth (which they call "Pekopon") but are often thwarted by the human family they live with. The series is noted for its comedic plots, quirky characters, and clever references to other anime, games, and manga. In addition to the manga, Sgt. Frog has been adapted into a popular animated television series, which ran for hundreds of episodes, as well as various movies, games, and other media. The series has gained a large following for its absurdist humor, wholesome family values, and pop-culture references spanning generations. Sgt. Frog maintains a global fan base and continues to have a cultural impact.
