Zoids: Fuzors is the third anime series in the Zoids franchise, following Zoids: New Century/ZERO. The 26-episode series revolves around RD, a young Zoid pilot in Blue City, and his battles alongside his team. Unlike its predecessors, Fuzors introduces the concept of “Fuzor Zoids,” where two or more Zoids combine to form a more powerful unit. While set in the same timeline as Zoids Battle Story, it has no direct connection to the previous two Zoids anime series. Originally aired in the US, Zoids: Fuzors was cancelled after 13 episodes due to low ratings. It was later broadcast in full in Australia and then in Japan. The computer animation was handled by Tokyo Kids, featuring a different style with more emphasis on 3D modeling and detailed Zoid movements. There are also differences between the US and Japanese versions, with the Japanese version adding new visual effects and even re-making some episodes. Additionally, a short program called "Zoids Roots" aired in Japan after each episode.
