悪魔くん

"Akuma-kun" is a manga series created by manga artist Shigeru Mizuki, which tells the story of a boy known as "Akuma-kun" who collaborates with demons to fight for a better world. The series features multiple versions of the manga with different protagonists and story backgrounds, but all revolve around the character Akuma-kun and his battles against various demons, monsters, and creatures. The most well-known version is the 1989 anime adaptation, "Saishinban Akuma-kun," starring Shingo Umoregi as the protagonist, telling the story of his fight against the Toyue Army with his twelve apostles. The series also includes live-action tokusatsu dramas, OVAs, and a new animated series released on Netflix in 2023. Each version of Akuma-kun possesses extraordinary wisdom and power, and achieves their goals by summoning and controlling demons. Despite the differing story backgrounds and character settings, the core concept of all versions is Akuma-kun's struggle to realize an ideal world, and the exploration of the relationship between humans and demons, justice and evil.
