甲竜伝説 ヴィルガスト

Kōryū Densetsu Villgust, also known as Armored Dragon Legend Villgust, is a series that originated from a Gashapon product planned and conceived by P.NEKOMATA. The series includes a two-episode OVA anime released between 1992 and 1993, and an RPG game for the Super Famicom. The game tells the story of the protagonist who travels from modern Japan to a parallel medieval world and fights to rescue his girlfriend and return to modern Japan. Players control five characters to battle enemies such as apes and skeletons to gain experience points. In the game, various weapons can be purchased, and only houses with visible doors can be entered. In addition, Kōryū Densetsu Villgust also includes manga and novel adaptations, but the game itself is primarily based on the original Gashapon series settings, and not adapted from the manga or novels.
