Gall Force: The Revolution is a 1996 OVA that reimagines the Gall Force series. It replaces the amorphous Paranoids from the original series with an endless civil war between the "West Force" and "East Force" Solnoid armies. Shifting away from the somber and apocalyptic tones of previous installments, The Revolution presents a more traditional sci-fi adventure story, while still highlighting the tragedies and widespread destruction caused by war. The plot revolves around the conflict between East and West Force Solnoid soldiers and their accidental involvement with the Conch, an anti-war organization seeking peace between the warring factions. Comprising four episodes, the story explores the absurdity of war and the struggles of individuals amidst chaos. The character designs also differ from the original series, emphasizing mecha and combat elements, giving a fresh take on the Gall Force franchise.
