蒼き流星SPTレイズナー

"Blue Comet SPT Layzner" is a Japanese science fiction robot anime that aired from 1985 to 1986, produced by Sunrise. Set in 1996, the story follows Eiji, a half-human, half-Gradosian boy, as he fights to prevent the Gradosian invasion of Earth. Eiji pilots a powerful robot called "Layzner" and embarks on an adventure with a group of teenagers he meets on Mars. The anime is known for its unique mecha designs, intense plot, and profound themes, exploring issues such as war, racism, and the future of humanity. The anime is divided into two parts: the first part depicts Eiji escaping from Grados, warning Earth, and fleeing with the teenagers; the second part tells the story of Eiji fighting alongside a resistance group three years later, after Earth is occupied by Grados. The anime was cut short due to sponsor issues, but a subsequent OVA series completed the story.
