"Wind -a breath of heart-" is a visual novel developed by the Japanese game studio Minori. It was initially released for Windows on April 19, 2002, with adult content. Subsequently, in 2003, it was ported by Alchemist to the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 platforms, with the adult content removed. The game features voice acting for all characters except for the protagonist. The visual novel has been adapted into an anime series consisting of 13 episodes and four special episodes (9.5, 10.4, 10.8, and 12.5), as well as four OVAs and a manga. The story revolves around the protagonist, Makoto Okano, who returns to his hometown Kazune City with his sister Hinata and reunites with his childhood friend Minamo Narukaze. They discover that the town's residents possess unique abilities, and are faced with a string of mysterious murders and disappearances. To uncover these mysteries, Makoto and his friends embark on a series of adventures, forging deep emotional bonds with one of the five heroines. The OVA series complements the anime series, delving into the backstories of some characters, unresolved mysteries, and expanding the plot of the main story.
