Adventures of Kotetsu

Adventures of Kotetsu (Japanese: 小鉄の大冒険, Kotetsu no Daibōken) is a manga series written and illustrated by Minoru Tachikawa. The series was adapted into a two-episode OVA series by Daia in 1996. It was later licensed by ADV Films. The story follows Linn Suzuki, a young girl who, while walking through the streets of Tokyo, comes across a strange device and is attacked by thugs. She is rescued by a beautiful stranger named Miho Kuon, who lets Linn stay with her and nicknames her 'Kotetsu,' after her long-lost brother Tetsujin. Linn has fled Deep Kyoto from her cruel mistress and has traveled to Edo, where she hopes to find her missing brother, who was last seen working for the Kuon Detective Agency. However, a mysterious agency called the Syndicate is after Miho, and Linn is caught in the middle. The anime was produced by Project Team Sarah, with Yuuji MORIYAMA as director. The voice cast includes Yuko Miyamura (as Linn/Kotetsu), Mako Hyodo (as Kagari), Shinichiro Miki (as Kenichi Mukai), Kikuko Inoue (as Miho Kuon), and Masami Kikuchi (as Tatsuya Mikado), among others. In addition to the anime adaptation, an eroge titled Kotetsu no Daibouken, a sequel to the anime, was released in 1996.
