Ah! My Goddess (ああっ女神さまっ), also known as Oh My Goddess!, is a Japanese manga series created by Kōsuke Fujishima that has been adapted into several anime versions. The 2005 television anime series, often referred to as Ah! My Goddess or Oh! My Goddess TV, is the second anime adaptation based on the original manga. The series was produced by AIC and aired from January 6, 2005, to July 7, 2005. The story revolves around college student Keiichi Morisato, who accidentally calls the Goddess Help Hotline and is met by the goddess Belldandy. Belldandy is sent to grant Keiichi one wish, and he wishes for her to stay with him forever, leading to their cohabitation. This anime series closely follows the plot of the manga, adding some original elements and making minor adjustments to character designs to suit the TV format. Known for its lighthearted humor and engaging character relationships, the show depicts the story of Keiichi and Belldandy, as well as her sisters, living together in an old Buddhist temple, while dealing with challenges from both the divine and demonic realms. The anime series was licensed in North America by Media Blasters.
