Ozanari Dungeon is a manga series created by Motoo Koyama, serialized in Monthly Comic Nora from November 1987 to November 1996. This manga is known for its fantasy and comedy elements and has been adapted into a three-episode OVA anime series titled Ozanari Dungeon: The Tower of Wind. The story is set in a fantastical world of swords and sorcery, occasionally featuring anachronistic technologies like missiles and airships. The plot revolves around a group of mercenaries consisting of the barbarian Mocha, the rogue Blueman, and the mage Kiriman, and their adventures for money. Initially, the stories are self-contained and lighthearted, but as the plot progresses, it becomes more profound and continuous, involving national wars and world-destroying dragons. The anime OVA, The Tower of Wind, was released by Toshiba EMI in 1991 and aired on TV Tokyo in 1993.
