Jinki: Extend (ジンキ・エクステンド) is a Japanese manga series created by Shirō Tsunashima, revolving around girls who fight by piloting giant humanoid robots called "Jinki" (man-machine). The story is divided into two parts: the 1988 events in Venezuela (Jinki) and the 1991 events in Tokyo (Jinki: Extend). At the heart of the series are two girls: Aoba Tsuzaki and Akao Hiiragi. Aoba gets involved in a secret conflict in Venezuela, while Akao battles a threat known as "Kyomu" in Japan. The manga series was adapted into a 13-episode anime in 2005, with the 13th episode released as an OVA. The anime presents the two timelines in parallel, eventually converging. Besides manga and anime, the series also includes video games, even adult game adaptations. The series is known for its complex plot, unique mecha designs, and compelling characters. It is also notable for its rare setting of Venezuela in anime.
