Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, also known as Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX, is a spin-off and sequel to the original Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series. Set several years after the events of the original series, it follows the story of Jaden Yuki (Judai Yuki) as he attends Duel Academy, a school founded by Seto Kaiba. The academy is located on a remote island in the Southern Seas, with dormitories named after the Egyptian God Cards: Obelisk Blue, Ra Yellow, and Slifer Red, reflecting students' dueling abilities. The series chronicles Jaden and his companions' adventures at the academy, facing various internal competitions and external threats such as the Shadow Riders and the Society of Light. The anime spans four seasons, gradually exploring darker themes, including alternate dimensions, emotional struggles, and redemption. The final season focuses on the characters' growth and future paths. The anime aired on TV Tokyo from October 6, 2004, to March 26, 2008, comprising 180 episodes. Besides the anime, there are also manga and video game adaptations.
