Koi Koi Seven

Koi Koi Seven (こいこい7) is a Japanese manga series created by Morishige. The story revolves around a fighting squad of six girls known as Koi Koi Seven, who belong to Gokoh Academy and fight daily to protect Earth's peace and future, as well as the hopeless high school student, Tanaka Tetsuro. The manga was serialized in Akita Shoten’s Champion Red magazine from 2002 to 2007. It was later adapted into a 13-episode anime television series, which aired between April and June 2005. The anime significantly differs from the manga in terms of plot and development, focusing on an organization called 'Celonious' and featuring a blend of bishōjo combat, comedy, and copious amounts of suggestive fan service. The anime is known for its unique storyline, characters, and parodies of 80's anime, featuring numerous panty shots while maintaining an intricate world-building, even though these aspects are not explicitly presented. The story begins with Tetsuro Tanaka transferring to Gokoh Academy, a school almost entirely comprised of girls, where he is protected by the six girls of Koi Koi Seven, who develop their own affections for Tetsuro while battling the evil Gokōkai group.
