"Hiatari Ryōkō!" is a Japanese manga series created by Mitsuru Adachi, serialized in "Weekly Shōjo Comic" from 1980 to 1981. The story revolves around the protagonist, Kasumi Kishimoto, who moves into the "Hidamari-so" apartment managed by her aunt, where she lives with several male college students. It is a youth romance story unfolding with a lighthearted and humorous touch, depicting young people's growth in love, friendship, and dreams. After the manga's serialization, it was adapted into a television drama and anime series, gaining significant popularity. The anime aired after "Touch," retaining much of the production team and voice cast, but with some changes to the plot. The focus of the story shifts from the baseball club's goal of reaching Koshien to more everyday school life and romantic entanglements, emphasizing the emotional struggles between characters. Additionally, a theatrical anime film, "Hiatari Ryōkō! KA♥SU♥MI Yume no Naka ni Kimi ga Ita," was released as an after-story to the anime series.
