Goldfish Warning! Movie

"Goldfish Warning! The Movie" is a short anime film released in 1992, based on the manga and television anime series of the same name. The story revolves around the once-sneaky Tanakayama, who is now reduced to selling goldfish and has only one left named Gyopo. Suddenly, he notices Gyopi floating towards him and hides in the bushes, allowing the two goldfish to meet. Despite their instant connection, the selfish and wealthy Chitose insists that Gyopi is not allowed to date a 100-yen goldfish, forcibly dragging Gyopi away. Tanakayama uses their love to try and capture the multi-million yen fish, while Chitose tries to sabotage their relationship. Gyopi's only allies appear to be Wapiko and her friends. However, with Gyopo being whisked away to Europe, can they stop her from leaving? Produced by J.C.Staff, the movie serves as a supplement to the original TV anime, continuing the style of the original work, and is known for its lighthearted and humorous story with distinct characters.
