Yadamon: Magical Dreamer

Yadamon: Magical Dreamer (ヤダモン) is a 10-minute anime series created by Suezen, originally aired from August 24, 1992, to July 16, 1993. The series was broadcast every weekday, with the first run consisting of 110 episodes, followed by a second series of 60 episodes in 1993 on NHK's Educational Channel. The story revolves around Yadamon, a young and novice witch who flies by turning her hair into butterfly wings, rides a magical vacuum cleaner, and has a talking manatee named Manatee as her mentor. After causing chaos in the Witch Forest, Yadamon is banished to the human world by her mother, the Queen of the Witches. This punishment is not solely for Yadamon's behavior but also because the Queen has a secret passion for human magazines and books. In the human world, Yadamon encounters various misadventures, her curiosity often causing trouble for the humans and her guardian fairy, Timon, who has the ability to stop time (though he turns into a clock when doing so). As Yadamon adapts to the human world and learns to use her powers, a new threat emerges: Kira, an evil witch who was sealed inside a volcano, has escaped and seeks revenge on humans and Yadamon. The final series reveals the true origin of the mysterious egg that spawns an evil copy of Yadamon who wishes to bring about the apocalypse.
