Moeyo Ken TV

"Moeyo Ken TV," also known as "Kidou Shinsengumi Moeyo Ken TV," is a Japanese anime set in an alternate Meiji Era. It is adapted from a PS2 game of the same name. The story takes place in a world where humans coexist with licensed yōkai (monsters). The protagonist, Ryunosuke Sakamoto, the son of the hero Ryoma Sakamoto, returns from Shanghai to Kyoto to help his mother run the 'Mobile Shinsengumi Co., Ltd,' an organization that polices unlicensed yōkai to maintain peace. The members, Yuko Kondo, Toshie Hijikata, and Kaoru Okita, descendants of the historical Shinsengumi figures, fight against evil forces alongside Ryunosuke. The anime combines comedy, romance, and action, with character designs by Rumiko Takahashi and original work by Ohji Hiroi. The anime is loved for its cute character design and light-hearted plot. Originally an OVA, it was adapted into a TV anime series and broadcast on various platforms.
