Lupin III: Angel Tactics

"Lupin the 3rd: Angel Tactics ~A Piece of a Dream is the Scent of Murder~" is the 17th TV special in the Lupin the 3rd series, which premiered on July 22, 2005. The story revolves around Lupin and his gang infiltrating the heavily guarded Area 51 in the US to steal a mysterious sphere called the 'Original Metal.' This seemingly alien artifact draws the attention of a terrorist organization known as the 'Bloody Angels,' comprised of highly skilled female assassins. Lupin must evade Inspector Zenigata while also facing these deadly opponents. The plot reveals that the Original Metal is a key component of a plasma weapon developed by the US. Although Lupin's initial goal was to make a ring for Fujiko, he ultimately uses the Original Metal for an unexpected purpose. This work is notable for its all-female antagonistic organization and Lupin's controversial actions at the end. Its unique style makes it a distinct Lupin the 3rd special.
