"Camelot of Love and Sword: Marina the Manga Artist's Time Slip Incident" is a 1990 Japanese animated film adapted from the light novel series of the same name by Hitomi Fujimoto. The story revolves around Marina, a manga artist who, during a friend's birthday party, is transported by a giant dragon to medieval England, a time of Arthurian legend. She and her friends, including the handsome boys Kazuya, Charles, Bijomaru, and Kirk, get caught in a battle for the throne. Marina is hailed as a hero and needs to solve the mystery of the Holy Sword Excalibur. However, a wicked witch named Dora, who seeks to seize Camelot, also makes her move. This anime film is known for its lighthearted humor, exciting fight scenes, and reverse-harem setting. Despite a runtime of only 45 minutes, the story is tightly paced and the plot progresses quickly. Directed by Fumiko Ishii and with Megumi Hayashibara voicing the protagonist Marina, it is a nostalgic work with an 80s anime style.
