魔法のプリンセス ミンキーモモ(夢を抱きしめて)

Magical Princess Minky Momo: Hold on to Your Dreams is the second television anime series in the Magical Princess Minky Momo franchise, produced by Ashi Production and aired on Nippon Television (NTV) from 1991 to 1992. Serving as a sequel to the original 1982 series, this series follows Momo, a princess from the underwater dreamland of "Marinarsa," who comes to Earth to help people regain their dreams. Similar to the previous series, Momo is adopted by a childless couple and uses her magic to transform into adults with various professions to bring happiness to others, while also facing the crisis of her magic gradually disappearing. The series changed its subtitle to Magical Princess Minky Momo: Hold on to Your Dreams after 38 episodes, and ultimately comprised 62 episodes. In addition, it spawned OVAs and video games. This series maintains the style of the first anime while incorporating deeper social themes such as the refugee crisis, and explores dreams and hope. It is also considered influential in the development of later magical girl anime.
