地獄先生ぬ~べ~ 午前0時ぬ~べ~死す!

Hell Teacher Nube: Death by Midnight is the second theatrical film in the Hell Teacher Nube anime series, released on March 8, 1997. The story revolves around a transfer student, Jun Kagami, who, due to his loneliness, befriends a youkai clown in a mirror. The clown manipulates Jun by exploiting his weaknesses, leading to a series of incidents. The clown grants Jun the power of prophecy, making him popular in his class, but it's all a trap. Ultimately, the clown tries to control the other students and attack Nube, but Nube and Jun join forces to defeat him and save the students. This movie retains the series' blend of school life, horror, and fantasy, and delves into themes of human relationships and vulnerability. Directed by Yukio Kaizawa and written by Takao Koyama, the 45-minute film was part of the Spring '97 Toei Anime Fair.
