Honey x Honey Drops

Honey × Honey Drops (蜜×蜜ドロップス, Mitsu × Mitsu Drops) is a shōjo manga series created by Kanan Minami. The story is set in the fictional Houjou Academy, which has a special “Kuge course” for wealthy students. Hagino Yuzuru, a regular student, clashes with Renge Kai of the Kuge course during a summer part-time job. After the summer break, she discovers that she has been chosen as Kai's “Honey.” The Honey system requires regular students to act as assistants to Kuge course students, taking care of their daily needs in exchange for tuition exemption. While Yuzuru needs this benefit due to her family’s financial situation, she is forced to become Kai’s “Honey” and faces various difficulties. The manga was serialized in the magazine *Sho-Comi* from 2004 to 2006, with a total of 8 volumes. The first two volumes were adapted into a two-episode original video animation (OVA) in 2006. Additionally, a dating sim game titled *Honey × Honey Drops Love × Love Honey Life* was released for PlayStation 2 by Idea Factory on April 6, 2006.
