企業戦士YAMAZAKI LONG DISTANCE CALL

"Kigyou Senshi Yamazaki" is a manga series created by Jun Tomizawa, serialized in Shueisha's "Super Jump" magazine from 1992 to 1999. Set in post-bubble Japan, the story revolves around Takuro Yamazaki, a cyborg warrior known as a "corporate soldier." Posing as an efficient派遣 employee, Yamazaki is actually a cyborg with the brain of an overworking elite. He is dispatched to various companies to resolve issues through innovative proposals, battling not only workplace challenges but also rival business commandos. The narrative unfolds in self-contained episodes, where Yamazaki aids struggling companies and solves problems through combat. In addition to the manga, the series has been adapted into an Original Video Animation (OVA) and a live-action film. The OVA "LONG DISTANCE CALL" adapts the manga's first and third episodes, depicting Yamazaki's encounters at a convenience store and a phone company. The series blends science fiction, business, and action elements, with a touch of comedy. It is known for its unique premise and exaggerated fight scenes.
