デュエル・マスターズ チャージ

Duel Masters Charge is a television anime series based on the card game and manga of the same name. It aired in Japan from April 2004 to March 2006 as the second installment of the Duel Masters anime series. The anime was broadcast bi-weekly as a segment on the "Oha Suta" program, totaling 52 episodes. The story follows protagonist Shobu Kirifuda as he trains under Dr. Root, participating in the "Duel Masters = Battle Arena" tournament. He battles numerous powerful opponents, gradually uncovering mysteries surrounding characters like Fua Yu and Bucketman, as well as shocking events involving Hakou. The plot is divided into two parts; the first focuses on the Battle Arena, while the second centers on Shobu and his friends' adventure to recover Hakou's memories and confront the Fua family. Due to poor sales of the card game and the merger of toy companies, production was abruptly canceled, resulting in an ending similar to the bad ending of the first part of the manga, and there is no direct connection to subsequent series. Despite this, "Duel Masters Charge" is loved by fans for its unique plot, exciting duels, and memorable characters. There was no official DVD release, and it was only available for rent at TSUTAYA and has been rebroadcast on Kids Station.
