湘南純愛組!

Shonan Junai Gumi! is a manga series created by Japanese manga artist Tooru Fujisawa. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine from 1990 to 1996. Set in Shonan in the 1990s, the story follows the youth of delinquent teenagers Eikichi Onizuka and Ryuji Danma. Known as the "Onibaku Combo," they are legendary figures in the area. In an attempt to escape their single lives, they transfer from an all-boys school to a co-ed school, embarking on a series of hilarious and action-packed youthful adventures. This work is a prequel to GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) and showcases Onizuka's high school life, filled with youthful passion, friendship, and love, while also touching upon the popular Bosozoku (biker gang) culture of the time. The manga humorously depicts the boys' growth, their pursuit of friendship and love, and their anxieties about the future. In addition to the manga, it has also been adapted into anime, live-action dramas, and other forms.
