It continues the adventures of Louise and Saito as master and familiar. This season introduces new characters such as Agnès de Milan, Captain of the Tristain Musketeers; Julio Chesaré, a Romalian priest and expert swordsman; and Sheffield, the Governor of Albion and the season's main antagonist. Louise's older sisters, Éléonore de la Vallière and Cattleya de la Fontaine, also make their debut.
