イバラード時間

Iblard Jikan (イバラード時間, Ibarādo Jikan, literally "Iblard Time") is an experimental anime OVA produced by Studio Ghibli in 2007. Directed by Naohisa Inoue, the film is approximately 30 minutes long and was released on DVD and Blu-ray as part of the "Ghibli ga Ippai Collection". The story is set in the imaginary world of Iblard, originally depicted in paintings by Inoue. This work uses digital techniques to animate Inoue's paintings and features light, instrumental music, allowing viewers to appreciate the landscapes of Iblard. The film has no plot or dialogue, and primarily showcases dynamic elements within static scenes, such as grass swaying in the wind and people walking. The Iblard paintings also inspired fantasy sequences in another Studio Ghibli film, Whisper of the Heart. Iblard Jikan is considered a visually stunning and relaxing piece, but due to its focus on visual presentation rather than narrative, it might be more appealing to those looking to complete their collection of Ghibli works.
