Nasu: A Migratory Bird with Suitcase is a 2007 Japanese original video animation (OVA) produced by Madhouse. Directed by Kitarō Kōsaka, with Ken'ichi Yoshida as animation director, it is a sequel to the 2003 animated film Nasu: Summer in Andalusia. The story shifts from Andalusia, Spain, to the Japan Cup Cycle Road Race held in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. The film centers on the trust between the protagonist Pépé and his teammate Ciocci, depicting how they face challenges during a rainy race, while also exploring Ciocci's doubts about his cycling career, amidst the backdrop of their team's impending disbandment. The OVA won the Best OVA award at the 7th Tokyo Anime Awards in 2008. Nasu: A Migratory Bird with Suitcase continues the style of its predecessor, while upgrading the aspect ratio from 4:3 standard to 16:9 high definition. This film is based on the short story "A Migratory Bird with Suitcase" from Iou Kuroda's manga Nasu.
