Learning the Hard Way

"Learning the Hard Way," also known as "Doki Doki Oyako Lesson: Oshiete H na Obenkyou," is an adult romance adventure game developed by TinkerBell (Cyberworks) and released on April 14, 2006 for Windows 98/2000/Me/XP. It was later included in "Hitozumaen: Ore ga Hitozuma Suki ni Natta Gobon." The story follows college student Atsushi Ikuta who, after being asked by a senior, becomes a tutor to a young girl. He soon finds himself entangled in a complex relationship with her and her mother, even involving another mother-daughter duo. The game was adapted into a two-part OVA series, released by milky (MS PICTURES) on June 1, 2006, and April 25, 2007, respectively. Additionally, there are light novel and manga adaptations. The Japanese title is "ドキドキ母娘レッスン ～教えて♪Hなお勉強～," with the alias "ドキドキおやこレッスン おしえて えっちなおべんきょう."
