Myself; Yourself

Myself; Yourself is a Japanese visual novel developed by Regista and released on December 20, 2007, for the PlayStation 2. Takumi Nakazawa, the main scenario writer for the Infinity series, is the principal writer, with character designs by Mutsumi Sasaki. The story is set in 2007 in the fictional town of Sakuranomori, and follows Sana Hidaka's return to his hometown after five years away. He discovers that while the town hasn't changed much, his childhood friends have. Sana attempts to mend his relationships with his friends and uncover their hidden secrets. The visual novel was adapted into a 13-episode anime television series by Doga Kobo, which aired from October to December 2007. There is also a light novel titled Myself; Yourself Sorezore no Overture, based on the visual novel. The series explores themes of tragedy in modern life, and the meaning of caring for the people close to you, and the willingness to sacrifice for one another.
