Lucky Star OVA

Lucky Star OVA, officially titled Lucky Star OVA: Original Visual to Animation, is a special episode of the Lucky Star anime series. It was released in Japan on September 26, 2008, and on a subbed-only DVD in North America on August 4, 2009. There is no English dub for this OVA. Produced by Kyoto Animation, the OVA continues the style of the TV anime and features six separate, short stories with lighthearted and sometimes bizarre content. One story shows the main characters playing an MMORPG, while another features a suggestive dream of Kagami (Kagami Hiiragi) about Konata (Konata Izumi). Additionally, the OVA includes live-action segments of "Lucky Channel" starring Hiromi Konno (voice of Akira Kogami) and Minoru Shiraishi (voice of Minoru Shiraishi). The OVA's ending theme song, "Ai wo Torimodose!!", is performed by Uchoten, a unit formed by Konno and Shiraishi. The Lucky Star OVA maintains the series' typical style and humor, providing fans with a fun and memorable experience. It is a significant part of the Lucky Star franchise.
