ヴァイパーズ・クリード

Viper's Creed is a mecha action anime series created by Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan, with animation by AIC Spirits and Digital Frontier. Shinji Aramaki is responsible for the creation and conception of the series, while Hiroyuki Kanbe is the main director. The story is set in the mid-21st century, where global warming has submerged most of Earth's cities, followed by a third world war, bringing calamity and turmoil to the people. In this context, various Private Military Companies (PMCs) are among the few organizations able to provide law enforcement and self-defense for cities trying to rebuild from war and floods. One of these PMCs, Arqon Global Security, is responsible for protecting Fort Daiva City from terrorism, armed crimes, and renegade unmanned machines called "Bug Mechs." To do this, they deploy an elite military unit called "Viper," led by operatives known as "Blademen." The anime aired in Japan from January to March 2009, with a total of 12 episodes. The series is known for its mecha designs and action sequences, but it has not gained widespread attention due to its early cancellation of broadcasting in the United States.
