夏のあらし!

Natsu no Arashi! (Summer Storm!) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Jin Kobayashi, which has been adapted into an anime. The story is set around 2005 in Yokohama, focusing on an old-fashioned café called 'Hakobune' (Ark). The protagonist, Yasaka, meets Arashiyama Sayoko, a mysterious girl working at the café, during his summer vacation. Sayoko possesses the ability to travel through time, and their encounter creates a connection that leads them to experience a series of strange events. Alongside Sayoko, other ghostly girls like Kaja also appear, each with their own secrets and pasts. The story combines time travel, supernatural phenomena, and comedic elements while also exploring the cruelty of war and historical remnants. The anime adaptation, produced by SHAFT and directed by Akiyuki Shinbo, is known for its unique style and nostalgic music. The anime version differs slightly from the original manga, incorporating more comedic elements.
