Omamori Himari

Omamori Himari (おまもりひまり), also known as Protective Charm Himari, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Milan Matra. The story revolves around Yuto Amakawa, a teenager who, on his 16th birthday, encounters Himari, a cat spirit samurai girl who has sworn to protect him from various monsters and demons. Yuto learns that his family is one of the twelve demon-slaying families since the feudal era. However, Yuto is allergic to cats, which complicates matters. As the story progresses, Yuto encounters other girls who take a liking to him, such as the water deity Shizuku, the artifact spirit Lizlet, and Yuto's fiancée and fellow demon slayer Kuesu. The manga was serialized in Monthly Dragon Age from June 2006 to September 2013, with a total of 12 volumes. It also spawned a four-panel manga spinoff, light novels, and a 12-episode anime adaptation by Zexcs, which aired from January to March 2010. Omamori Himari combines action, fantasy, and harem comedy elements to tell the story of Yuto's growth in the supernatural world and his complex relationships with a variety of female characters.
