Anyamaru Tantei Kiruminzoo, also known as Animal Detective Kiruminzoo, is a Japanese magical comedy anime series created by Shōji Kawamori, marking his first shōjo title. The series, animated by Satelight and Hal Film Maker, premiered on TV Tokyo on October 5, 2009. The story is set in the fictional city of Kamihama, a place rich in nature, where twin sisters Riko and Rimu Mikogami discover the mysterious “Kirumin” in their attic while searching for a lost cat. The Kirumin allows them to transform into animals. They are joined by their older sister Nagisa, and the three of them embark on cute, funny, and sometimes dangerous adventures, solving various mysteries along the way. The anime's theme is, "What if you can really transform into an animal?" A manga spin-off is also serialized in Shueisha's shōjo magazine, Ribon.
