Ladies versus Butlers!

Ladies versus Butlers! (Japanese: れでぃ×ばと!, Hepburn: Redi×Bato!) is a Japanese light novel series written by Tsukasa Kōzuki and illustrated by Munyū. The series was published by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint, with 13 volumes released between September 2006 and March 2012. The story follows Akiharu Hino, who, after losing his parents, is adopted by his uncle. To avoid being a burden, he enrolls in Hakureiryō Academy, a free boarding school where he trains to become a butler. However, his delinquent appearance frightens the predominantly female student body. Struggling to fit in, Akiharu encounters his childhood friend, Tomomi Saikyō, who has a two-faced personality. He is also pursued by Selnia Iori Flameheart, who finds his appearance suspicious. Despite these initial challenges, Akiharu begins to find his place at the school and develop relationships with the girls. Ladies versus Butlers! has also been adapted into a manga, drama CD, and a 12-episode anime series produced by Xebec, which aired from January to March 2010.
