"Ganbare Goemon: Jigen Jō no Akumu" (Go for it Goemon: The Nightmare of the Dimensional Castle) is a single-episode, twenty-eight minute OVA produced by Konami and AIC studios. Originally released in 1991 as part of the 5th anniversary celebration of the Ganbare Goemon series, it was a lottery prize for purchasers of the Super Famicom game "Ganbare Goemon: Yukihime Kyūshutsu Emaki." It was later a user gift for purchasers of "Ganbare Goemon 3: Shishijūrokubē no Karakuri Manji Gatame." The OVA was officially released on VHS on March 26, 1993. The story follows Goemon and Ebisumaru as they venture into a dimensional castle that suddenly appeared outside Edo to rescue Omitsu. Inside, they enter dimensions based on Konami's popular games, including Gradius, Akumajō Dracula, and TwinBee, transforming into the respective game protagonists. This OVA is known for its humor and parodies of Konami's classic games.
