Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom (薄桜鬼 〜新選組奇譚〜, Hakuōki ~Shinsengumi Kitan~) is a Japanese otome video game series developed by Idea Factory, first released for the PlayStation 2 in 2008 and later ported to many other platforms. The game is set in Kyoto during the Bakumatsu period and follows the story of Chizuru Yukimura, who travels to Kyoto in search of her missing father and gets entangled with the Shinsengumi.
