農業ムスメ!

"Nogyo Musume!" (Agricultural Girl!) is a Japanese media mix project planned by Toei Animation. Centered around a 4-panel manga by Minori Kagura, the project has expanded to include spin-off manga works, promotional anime, and web radio. This marks Toei Animation's first foray into the manga industry. With the catchphrase "I will grow rice," the project aims to support agriculture and revitalize local communities. The story focuses on the daily lives of high school sisters as they work diligently in their family's rice fields, incorporating fantasy elements for a nostalgic and heartwarming feel. The character design is also unique, including a girl working in the rice fields, a younger sister who can fly with a pot, a ninja rice shop owner, a rich girl from the city, and a shrine maiden who proclaims herself as a "moe" character. The work is presented in a 4-panel manga format, with each panel carefully detailed and incorporating anime elements, giving a feel of watching an animated storyboard.
