Freezing

Freezing (フリージング, Furījingu) is a Japanese manga series written by Dall-Young Lim and illustrated by Kwang-Hyun Kim. The story is set in a near future where Earth is under attack by interdimensional beings called Nova. To combat the Nova, genetically engineered young women called Pandoras are created, possessing superhuman fighting abilities. Alongside the Pandoras are their male partners, known as Limiters, who use the power of "Freezing" to restrict the movement of their opponents. The story centers on Kazuya Aoi, a Limiter whose sister was a Pandora, and Satellizer el Bridget, a cold and powerful Pandora known as the "Untouchable Queen." They both attend West Genetics Academy, a training school for Pandoras and Limiters. The Freezing franchise includes manga, anime adaptations, and spin-offs like Freezing: First Chronicle and Freezing: Zero. The series is known for its action-packed fights, intricate character relationships, and sci-fi setting.
