みのりスクランブル!

Minori Scramble! is a Japanese manga series created by Chihaya Mikage, which was originally serialized in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Forward magazine from 2007 to 2008. This comedy-themed four-panel manga tells the story of Tamaki Kakegawa, a fifth-grade elementary school girl. Her father is a penguin researcher, and due to being constantly surrounded by penguins, she develops a strong dislike for them. To cure her penguin aversion, a penguin-like android named Minori is created in hopes of becoming her friend. The story revolves around the various comedic incidents that occur in the neighborhood involving Tamaki and Minori. In 2011, the manga was adapted into an anime as part of Aniplex's 'Anime Bunko' project, produced by ufotable. The anime adaptation also held a public voice actor audition, where Maika Takai was chosen to voice the character Akira. The anime was released on DVD and Blu-ray in 2012.
