ひよ恋

Hiyokoi (ひよ恋), also known as 'Chick Love,' is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Moe Yukimaru. It was serialized in Shueisha's monthly shōjo manga magazine Ribon and has been compiled into 14 tankōbon volumes. The title, 'Hiyokoi,' is a pun combining 'hiyoko' (chick) and 'koi' (love). The story revolves around Hiyori Nishiyama, a 15-year-old high school girl who is extremely short due to a car accident that halted her bone growth. Upon returning to school, she encounters Yuushin Hirose, a cheerful and tall boy standing at 190 centimeters. Their interactions spark a lighthearted school romance. The manga has been adapted into a 22-minute anime special produced by Production I.G, which premiered at the Ribon Summer Festival in 2010. This anime special was later released on DVD along with the Yumeiro Patissiere OVA.
