Croisée in a Foreign Labyrinth (Japanese: 異国迷路のクロワーゼ, French: La croisée dans un labyrinthe étranger) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hinata Takeda, which tells the story of Yune, a young Japanese girl in late 19th-century Paris. She accompanies French traveler Oscar Claudel to France and offers to help at his family's ironwork shop. Initially reluctant, Oscar's nephew Claude eventually accepts Yune, and they gradually come to understand each other's different cultures and ways of life. The manga was serialized in Dragon Age Pure and Monthly Dragon Age magazines starting in 2006, but remained unfinished due to the author's death in 2017. An anime television adaptation produced by Satelight aired in Japan from July to September 2011, consisting of 12 episodes. It's known for its cute lead, sweet slice-of-life moments, and detailed depiction of late 19th century Paris.
