DD北斗之拳

"DD Hokuto no Ken" is a spin-off and parody of the classic manga "Fist of the North Star" by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara, featuring chibi-style character designs. The story is set in an alternate universe where the nuclear war of 199X never happened, forcing the original characters to take on mundane jobs. The series initially ran intermittently in "Comic Bunch" in 2008, created by black-box. From January to April 2011, a Flash animation adaptation aired on Kansai TV, with Shigeru Chiba reprising his role as “Muscle Chiba” as the narrator. A regular series, "DD Hokuto no Ken," by Kajio, began serialization in "Comic Zenon" in December 2010. An anime adaptation started airing in April 2013, with a second season in 2015. "DD Hokuto no Ken" reinterprets the world of "Fist of the North Star" in a lighthearted and humorous manner, offering viewers a fresh experience. The work presents classic characters in a new light through its contrasting cute designs and modern setting, showcasing them in everyday situations.
