C3

C³ - Cube×Cursed×Curious, also known as C Cube, is a Japanese light novel series written by Hazuki Minase and illustrated by Sasorigatame. The story follows Haruaki Yachi, a high school student who receives a mysterious black cube from his father. That night, he is awakened by a noise and discovers a naked girl named Fear eating rice crackers in his kitchen. Fear is actually the human form of the cursed black cube, an instrument of torture known as 'Fear in Cube'. She desires to be freed from her curse, and Haruaki agrees to help her. As the story progresses, they battle against other cursed items and their wielders, uncovering the mysteries behind the curses. The series blends action, romance, and comedy, and has been praised for its unique storyline. It was adapted into both a manga and an anime, with the anime airing in the Fall of 2011, consisting of 12 episodes. The interactions between Haruaki, Fear, and other cursed item holders, as well as their struggles to lift the curses, are central themes of the work.
