The virtual reality world of Bakugan Interspace has recovered from the alien invasion and become a place for brawlers to gather and challenge each other. However, whenever Dan's Bakugan, Pyrus Dragonoid, unleashes his power in battle, Interspace experiences new disruptions. Unable to control the power granted to him by Code Eve, Dan struggles to control the Mechtogan within him. When the Mechtogan goes out of control, this mysterious mechanical entity wreaks havoc on the battlefield, attacking friends and foes alike. To make matters worse, Bakugan Interspace is at risk of being infiltrated again. An unknown mastermind is sending mutated Chaos Bakugan into the system to brainwash brawlers and control the virtual realm. In anticipation of the inevitable confrontation, Dan must find a way to control the Mechtogan's destructive force and rally the Battle Brawlers once again.
